Killer Weather Is Coming

Seattle TV Stations Raise Alarm

Dateline Seattle: As a public service, Seattle Television stations KIRO, KING, and KOMO have pooled their weather resources to warn boaters of possible violent and severe weather changes that could occur, placing boaters in grave danger. "We believe that sometime in the future, there will be a severe storm with gale force winds that will be life threatening to anyone out on the waters." says group spokesman Loo King Yup. "Based on our experience, we're predicting that maybe as soon as in the next six months, April, May, June, uh July, August and September, the weather will be warmer than we've had in February and March. This means that people will be out boating more and unwittingly putting themselves in harms way if we didn't issue this warning." Calling it ARMAGEGGON 2002, all stations say they will be on the alert in case something actually happens to say, "See, we're right this time."

"While not so bad now, it's out on this very water where boaters could face grave danger when the storm hits," observes on-the-scene reporter Juanita Scoop. "And it's really, really salty,"
