Bremerton Christmas Boat Parade |
|
On Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8, the Bremerton Yacht Club will present their annual Holiday Lighted Christmas Parade. A big part of the festivities are Santa's personalized holiday greetings to the children along the route, so if any parent, friend or relative wishes a child's name mentioned by Santa, contact BYC, 2700 Yacht Haven Way, Bremerton, WA 98312, or call (360) 479-2662. The parade begins on December 7, at 6:30 pm at the Waterfront Park in Silverdale City Dock and travels along the east shore of Dyes Inlet by Tracyton through the Port Washington Narrows, around Point Herron at Manette and on to Illahee. From there we circle back along the west shore of the Port Washington Narrows ending up at Ruby Point at the entrance to Phinney Bay. December 8, the parade departs from BYC at 6:00 pm and circles Phinney Bay. They then move down the Rocky Point shoreline around Rocky Point to Mudd Bay then up and around Marine Drive down the east side of Ostrich Bay in, around and out of Oyster Bay, around Madrona Point into Ostrich Bay. From there they head north past Jackson Park to Erlands Point into Chico Bay and finish the cruise at the Waterfront Park. |
